For the FUSE collection, I drew inspiration from the artist Henry Moore. In his sculptures, forms are divided, shifted, and brought together again. What happens when two familiar shapes are separated from one another? How do they relate to each other when the space between them becomes just as important as the form itself?
This collection consists of a ring, bracelet, earrings, and necklace. Recognizable elements from Bandhu's TWOTONE and DOT collections were deconstructed, broken apart, and reassembled. I fused two existing designs into one new whole, a new design that feels distinctly Bandhu.
FUSE moves between abstract opposites: open and closed, heavy and light, round and straight. By bringing simplicity and abstraction together, a powerful balance emerges in which form and space enhance one another.
